First time outside
Chicks venture outdoors.
The 2025 chicks spent some time outside for the first time today. They seemed to enjoy it but were very nervous.
New Chicks!
Spring brings new chicks!
We have just added new chicks to our layer flock! We were able to find 10 chicks that we wanted to add to the flock this year: 3 Americana, 3 Wyandotte, 2 Rhode Island Red, and 2 Buff Orpington. We also hatched 2 mystery breeds. We are excited to see how these chicks grow and they shoul be laying by the end of summer.
